To Sawmilleps and Capitalists. SPLENDID BUSH FOll SALE. APPLICATIONS arc invited for tho right to cut timber on 11,000 acres of bush in tho North Island. Tho timber, which can be immediately utilised, ispuriri, within two miles of the sea coast, and the best that can be obtained in the colony. Many of the trees, which have been inspected by Mr Charles Clayton, Government Surveyor and exsawmill proprietor, are by girth j fioru 9 to 15 feet, and in length I from 14 to 30 feet. The bush is j easy of access and to work, ami should prove a most remunerative' investment for any capitalist or company. Mr Charles Clayton says :—" There nre plenty of places throughout New Zealand where mills are plated with nothing like the timber and prospects that the bush in question possesses, and the great facilities and advantages for working it." The object should be first to deal with tho puriri, as the Government Railway Department offer an in.modiate market for sleepers in any quantity. This bush has been sought after for the last 25 years, but the difficulty In dealing with the natives hat hitherto been insuperable. Tho N.Z. Herald supplement recently contained a notice of tho excellent quality of the timber on thiß land. It is estimated that there is ample timber to furnish a supply tor 20 or HO years. A fair business arrangement can be entered into at onco with anyone who has the knowledge and capital. Apply in first instance to Timber Itights, Box 119, Post Ofiice, New Plymouth.
