To Sawmlllers and Capitalists. SPLENDID BUSH FOR SALE. APPLICATIONS arc invited for the right to cut timber on 11,000 acres of bush in tho North Island, Tho timber, which can bo immediar tely utilised, is puriri, within two miles of the sea coast, and the best that can be obtained in the col j ony. Many of tho trees, which have been inspected by Mr Charles Clayton, Government Surveyor and exsawmill proprietor, are by girth from 9 to 15 feet, and in length from 14 to 80 feet. Tl>e bush is easy of access and to work, and should prove a most remunerative investment for uny capitalist or company. Mr Charles Clayton says " There are plenty of places throughout New Zealand where mills are placed with nothing like tho timber and prospects that the bush in question possesses, and the great facilities and advantages for working it." The object should be first to deal with the puriri, as the Government Railway Department offer an irr.mediate market for sleepers in any quantity. This bush has been sought after for the last 25 years, but the difficulty in dealing with tho natives has hitherto been insuperable. The N.Z. Herald supplement recently contained a notice of the excellent quality of the timber on this land. It is estimated that there is ample timber to furnish a supply for 20 or 30 years. A fair business arrangoment can be entered into at once with anyone who has the knowledge and capital. Apply in first instance to Timber Rights, Uox 119, Post (Office, New Plymouth.
