MESSRS BEWLEY AND GRIFFITHS' REPORT. On Saturday and Wednesday last wo held a special sale of pure-bred poultry, when over 850 birds were penned, and cansiderably over 300 sold at satisfactory prices. There was a very large attendance of the public, and prices realised were as follows :—Golden Hamburgs ss. Indian game 5s (id to 10s, Plymouth Rocks Gs to 'Jb, Bull Orpington 2s to Bs, Black Orpington 3s Cd to os, Jubileo Orpington ss, Golden Wyandottes 5s to £2 3s, Silver Wyandottes 7s to 10s, White Wyandottes 3s to 10s, Brown Leghorns 7s Od to 355, White Leghorn 12s, Minorcas 3s to 8s Od, Lartgsham 7s od, Dorkings 3s to 15s, Pekin ducks 12s 6d, Indian runner ducks 7s Od. On Thursday I sold by auction at the Drill Hall about 500 boxes butter salvaged from the Freezing Works lire. T. Roberts' farm at Iluirangi to Mr Jas. Nicol at £l3 per acre. A section in Fitzroy on account of W. Messrs Vickers and Stevens report that there was a fair muster of stock in their Inglewood yards on Wednesday last, and there was a decided improvement in all classes.
