MELBOURNE, May 13, The Baptist Union discussed the question of introduction of Chihoso to the Transvaal and warmly denounced it. The Rev. Carey said the proposal was shameful Ond squalid l . God, however, would scaJ-ce-ly let it come off, and already they saw its realisation impeded by plague. A condemnatory motion was impressivoly carried by the gathering rising in silence and standing whila a special prayer was ottered.
