The Admiralty has lent the Sparrow to the New Zealand Government for a training ship. Sir John Forrest, interviewed, expressed himself in favour of u coalition between Messrs Reid and Deakin.
The Equity Court has decided that the cricket ground could not be used for other sports at .times when it was required for cricket 1 . The suit arose out of a dispute between the Cricket Association and tho trustees over the action of the latter in letting the ground for bicycle sports during last cricket season. lIKISIIAXK, May :!.
