BEKUSED ADMISSION BUT TAKEN ASHORE BY FORCE.
May 2, 1.14 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 1.
Advices received from Port Darwin state that nine Chinese who arrived by the Chingtu were refused aamis•ion by the Federal authorities and placed aboard the Changsha for deportation. Acting on instructions from the South Australian Government a force of police boarded the latter vessel and forcibly removed the Chinese ashore.
