A Batch of Criminals.
(Per Press Association.) INVEROAKOILL, April 20. To-day Joseph liarron (20) ' was committed for trial for assault with intent on a woman on tho outskirts of the town on the 12lh instant. William Craig-hton, an olil man, was committed for criminal assault on ai yirl five years of nge. iTo is a recent arrival from Australia. Knbecea Stravttou and her daughter Mabel were also committed for concealment of birth. The daughter, an unmarried woman, had given birth to a still born infant and in order to conceal her shajne the body is alleged to have been buried in the gulden.
