St. Mary's Church.
The aanual meeting of parishioners was held in St. Mary's SohooHroom on Tuesday evening, when there was a good attendance. The Rev, F. 0. Evans, Vicar, presided. The minutes of the last , annual meeting, and of two special meetings—one referring to the now organ and the other to the CSovettilrown memorial fund—were ruad' and j confirmed. [ The report and beltvncej-sheet were taken us road, and' were adopted upon the motion of Messrs S, W, Shaw and T. Woodard. Mr Sliuw referred to the unfortunate omission in the report re the beautiful presents of inlaid panels' to the altar.. He moved that the grateful thanks of the meeting be tendered to Mrs Brougham und Mr (J. W. Govett for their gift of the Itaautiful mosaics which have been placed in the reredas at the back of the altar table.
The motion was seconded by Mr T. C.}ok and carried unanimously. The Vicar said 'he tewl git(nt pleasure in informing those present that he had appointed Mr E. B. Kingdon as his churchwarden for the ensuing year. He spoke with regret at having to lose Air Stanley Smith, wftose services Iwud given great satisfaction. On the motion of Messrs S W Shaw aind W. H. Skinner, Mr S." Smith was elected people's warden Mr Smith briefly returned thanks. ' ihc nunjber of vestrymen was fixed at nine, and the following emtiomen were elected, the Revs. llradliury and.
