During Die year ended March 31st last New Zealand •exported butter oik! cheese to the value of £ 1,057,38(j, being an increase of £207,0!;:! on the value of the produce shipped away tile previous year. The figures are noteworthy by reason of the fact that -they show the enortnous divelopment of the 'dairying industry iu rtis country.
