A. 13il:ulh, Chief Uovvn;u.eiic Veterinarian, asking him u. send some specimens of the trout which, in his annual report of 1901-2, Mr Oiiruth had described as being affected with cancer. Not being able to obtain specimens at the time, Mr Gilruth sent Dr. Bushford portions of the affected tissues, vlnch had been preserved. It is interesting to note that Dr, Bashford, in a communication to the Royal Society, Uhanks the chief veterinarian, along with others, lor. placing these specimens gt his disposal.
