Mountain Climbing.

(Per Presb Association.) TAl'l'O, April 13. On Sunday morning-, April 10th, Judge Johnston, accompanied by Mr Hamilton (.schoolmaster) and two of his daughters, left Toknanaj to attempt the ascent of Kakaramea West, 41251) feet high. They reached the trig station at 4 p.m., through very broken country and bush. As they did not return a search party went out, and found them by " cooees." at 11, but did not reach them till 7.H0 next morning\ The members of the party were done up and their garments in tatters, but they suffered no ill-elTeets.
