the inquest. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON*, April" Ki At an inrcpiest on Mr J. C Andrew, who was bushed while deerstalking, the evidence showed that tile cause oi death was exposure to damp and cold. The left leg was bruised below the knee which would impede walking. No bones were broken or sptained. I'rom the appearance of the body it was evident that the unfortunate man had travelled through very rough country, and had dropped exhaustion. Deceased's tardy was found about nine miles from the camp, and about Iwo miles from another camp of deer stalkers. The verdict was one of death from exposure and exhaustion. WELLINGTON, La ter. The body of the late Mr J. C. Andrew was .brought to town to-day for burial. There was a large attendance at the funeral, among those present "being the Premier, the Native Minister, the Mayor (Mr J. (J. W. Aitkcn) and several City Councillors members of the Law Socio! v Acclimatisation Society Welleslev Hub, Vestry of St. Mark's Church, and other bodies with which deceased ivejs connected.
