(I 4 rom our Correspondent.) Keferenco is to bo nmdu to tho recent mournful occurrence on the beach here, when the late jUr Jos Kirk lost his life, ut Ihu Methodist service on Sund'ay evening next. The wide respect in which the deceased was held was shown by the large attendance at his funeral at Ukuto which, taking place on tho Sunday on which his body was recovered, was thu more remurkuiljlo seeing that there were few facilities for making it known. Universal sympathy is expressed lor -the bereaved family.
