The House of Representatives rejected, by three votes, Cotrgrcasnten Bourke and Cockrau's rosoluiions directing the judiciary committee to investigate a recent pension order. The riarrow.mnjority was the sharpest mark of censure President Roosevelt luis yet received. Cockran 'declared that legislative authority had been usurped, by a stroke of the pen, for appropriating thirty million dollars.
