Mr .It, White (Okninwa) who was suspended in August last, until end of season 1904, for leaving the field in the Wa'imtUe-Okniawa match, wrote apologising for his action.and asking that the disijualiiieatiion lie removed. t

It was resolved that..White be recommended to apply again after the first round is over.

Application was also made for removal of distj.ualificatiion from Jlardgreaves, who was disqualified for live years in lflOU.—The application was refused.

The secretary was instructed to write to the New Z'ealand Union, stating that the Taranaki Onion was in sympathy with the proposal to send a team to EngSand,'b;ut at present, owing to its financial position, was un'ojfle to assist. If the Union was in funds later on in the season, it would lie plcufced to subscribe to the fund.

The Taranaki Referees Association wrote stating that they considered an undeserved slur had hjeen cast on the association by the passing of the new rule that an outside referee shall (ire appointed for the north and south plny-olf match, and refusing to referee until the rule is rescinded'.

Tile secretary was instructed to write pointing out that the ninnngiinent committee has no power to alter the rule, that there was no intention to cast any slur on the association, and asking them to reconsider the question. The secretary was instructed to write to the different clubs re the formation of an accident' insurance fund.

The Hawera Star says :—lt, has long been a grievance among the members of the Tukapa Club that they cannot get a representative on the Management. Committee. This year the wail was long and deep, and the delegates did tlieir best to make the polls invalid. They appeared perfectly sure there would bo some oj their clubmatcs to meet them at the station and have a drink with their club|mate.s to meet them nt the station and have a drink with them for having uchieved a most desirable object, The position tho Tukapas fake up is that they are ono of the principal clubs in the province, and ouglit for that reason to be represented on the committee. Other people, unfortunately, do not agree with them, and 1 am in the same position. Surely a man on the Management Committee is there in the interests of football, and not representing his own club,, and should therefore be elected irrespective of which club he 'iifclongs to. A mitice of motion has been tabled now that each club be represented on the Management Committee. Tukapa will be represented then.

The Hawera team this year gives every promise of being the host for years. Most of last season's players) arc still avaiilyalijle. and it is expected that. they will show better form than last. Hut what they walnt is a man to kick. A few of the team can score on a pinch, but when they convert only eight per cent., of their tries il, will be seen that they, are at a great disadvantage.
