The following transfers of principal lightHiiuse-keepers have lieen decided upon ;—4lr Ericson. from Cape Egmont to the new lighthouse at Jock's Poinf, south of Timaru : Mr Wilson, from «odley Head to Cape Egmont: Mr ©handler, from Akaroa to Godley HeacJ ; Mr Partington, from Stephen's Island to Akaroa; Mr Loignton, from East Cape to Cape Foulwind, vice Mr Fletcher resigned ; Mr Greip, from French Pass to East Cape ; Mr Arnold, assistant at Cape Campbell is to become principal keeper on Stephen's Island ; end Mr Parkes, assistant on Somes Island, will be placed in charge at French Pass.
