Messrs Buckland and Son report : At Remuera dairy cows sold freely from £6 to £lO 15s, heavy calves up to £3. Beef was in full supply and sold up to 24s per lOOtbs, averaging 22s for steer, and 18s to 21s for cow. Steers ranged from £6 10s to £lO 7s 6d, cows £5 to £B. For sheep there was an average market. Wethers made 15s to 22s 9d, ewes to 19g 3d, lambs 10s Gd to 15s, stores 7s to 8s fid. Pigs sold well, porkers making 33s and baconers to 445.
