Cattle.—At the Newmarket yards on Tuesday fat stock were penned in average numbers, and met a ready sale, ox beef selling up to 25s per 1001b and cow 17s to 20s. Fat steers made from £6 10s to £lO l.'s (no heavy weights yarded) ; fat cows £5 5s to £7 15s. Dairy cows were yarded in full numbers, and sold from £5 10s to £9 17s (id ; empty do., £2 10s to £3 17s ; calves, £i lis to £2 14s. Sheep.—The Newmarket yards were well filled on Tuesday, but prices were scarcely up <0 last week's quotations.
