STOCK EXCHANGE SPECULATIONS THE CAUSE. (Received March 23, 0.40 a.m.) LONDON, March 22. Thomas McMullion, bookkeeper to Butterworth Bros., Coleman-street, London, New Zealand merchants, was sentenced at the Old Itailcy to three years' imprisonment, for embezzling £BOOO of the firm's money. Stock Exchange speculations extending over a number of years were the cause of the crime.
