FOOTBALL.
The Opunu.ke Club has a debit of XJ3 I!s Bd. Out of nearly forty members only fifteen paid their subscriptions, and of £ll 18s for teams' travelling expenses only £<; 10s was contributed directly by the players. At the annual meeting Mr A. Clarke was re-elected secretary and delegate io tlie l.uion, Mr A. C'uy captain, and Mr S. Forsyth vice-captain. Nine new members were elected. The club opens its season on Saturday next, 20th inst.
