Fracas on a Ship.
(Per Press Association.) TI.MARU, March :o. At the inquest on James Turner, boatswain of the Vvaiwern, who died on Wednesday from a fracture of Hie skull, consequent of n fall from a blow struck bv Chiei OJlicer Musters, Ihe evidence was very contradictory. The ship's ollicers (four) guv.; evidence that the blow was given in self-defence, while wharf hands ami onlookers (seven) said that two blows were struck, the second when deceased was on his knees, but he was not hurt by the first blow. The jury found that dealh was due to mis ulvcnture, from a blow lawfully struck by the first ollircr in self-defence.
