Maiden Whaleboat Race—No members of crew to have won any race (■Junior Race excepted). First prize iti, second £l. One mile and a half. 3. Senior Four-Oar Clinker RaceFirst prize £l3, second £4, for four boats or more. Three boats first prize £ls, second £3. Two boats, £lO. About one mile. 4. Girls' Whaleboat Race—For girls under 18 years of age. First prize £4, second £2, third £l, for three crew and over ; for two crews, iirst £3, second £l. About half a mile. 5. Champion Whaleboat Race—First prize £2O, second £5. Two miles. 6. High Dive—Neatest header. About 15 feet. First prize £l, second 30s. Post entry. 7. Best Decorated Boat—To be rowed by ladies in procession. First prize £3, second £l, 8. Senior Pair-Oar Outrigger Race— Firat prize £lO, second £3 ; for three boats or more. Two boats, first prize £7. About one mile. 9. Whaleboat Race—For those who are not taking part in any other race at the Regatta. First prize £5, second £l. Post entry. 10. Flying WJialeboat Race First prize £5, second £l. Straight run of about three-quarters of a mile. 11. Youths' Whaleboat Race - For youths under 21 years. First prize £5, second £l. One mile and a half. 12. Senior Single Sculls Race—First pi-is* £lO, second £3. About one mile. 13. Cigar and Umbrella Race—First prize £1 10s, second 10s ; four starters or no second prize ; once across the river. 14. Whaleboat Race—For crews lOst and under. First prize £5, second £l. One mile and- a half. 15. Handicap Swimming Ruce—First prize £2 or medal, second 10s ; Winner can have the choice of medal or money ; distance about 200 yards. 1(5. Three crews to enter or no second prize. All races to start punctually at advertised time, Any boat not at the starting point at the proper tune shall be liable to disqualification for that event. Objections with qualifications of a competitor shall be made in writing to the Secretary at the earliost moment practicable. No protest or objection shall be entertained unless placed in the hands of the Secretary within 48 hours after the day of the Regatta. A deposit of 10s must accompany each protest, which sum may be forfeited if the protest is not upheld by the Committee. Entrance fee 5 per cent, of the total amount of prize money offered for each event. Names, weights of competitors (including substitutes), and colours to be norn, must be lodged at time of entry. All post entries (to close on Regatta day at 12 noon) will be charged 5 per cent, on amount of first prize. The Committee reserve to themselves the right to alter the order or postpone any or all of the events and add any regulations which in their opinion may be necessary. Entries for the Four-Oar, Pair-Oar and Single Sculls close with the Secretary at the Foresters' Hail Waitara, on THURSDAY, March lo' at 8.30 p.m. ' Entries for all Whale-boat Races close with the Secretary at the Foresters Hall on THURSDAY, March lit-h at 8 p.m. Also for Swimming Handicap Race. b Band in attendance.
