The matter will be referred to the native attractions commiUrc It was decided to approach the Education Hoard and the Hoard of School Commissioners with a viewto obtaining the Centra! On the suggestion of .Mr Carter a committee consisting of Messrs Allsworth, Spencer, MacDiarmid, Collis, Morgan. Wood and (ioodacre was set up to formulate a scheme for a school-work competition, a report to be forthcoming at next meeting of the committee. Messrs W. 11. Skinner and S. Percy Smith gave their views on the question of a Maori village, being of opinion that the sclmme would be feasible. After an informal discussion on various parts of the arrangements, the meeting adjourned.
