PROGRESS OF MISSIONS IN FIJI SYDNKY, March H. The Methodist Conference adopted a resolution thanking the Church Commission which recently visited Fiji for its voidable services', and rejoicing that, according to the report oi the commission, Governor .lackson strongly disapproved of the Hiblo-bun>ing at Nailllili and the aclion of the Human Catholic priest concerned therein, and recording appreciation of the impartial uttitudu assumed by Mr Jackson since lub arrival in Fiji, and gratification that his administration is -directed in an honourable endeavour to do Justice to our missionaries and missions, his policy being one making for the real progress of nativeß und Europeans alike.
