MR NEWTON KINO'S WEEKLY REPORT. Cattle.—At Wuiwakaiho on Tuesday cattle came forward in excess of numbers advertised, the yards being ; full. There was a good attendance, and bidding showed a sligjit improvement upon the previous sale, most lines being quitted either at the hammer or ptfterwards. Calves mad*; 178 to 2.45, good calves 2Gs tid to 33s Cd, 15 to 18 months steers £2 12s 6d, 3 year fresh condition bullocks £5 Is, 4 year fat and forward do. £6 18s, 15 to 18 months heifers £3 8s 6d, 3 year heifers iu calf £4 7s to £4 10s, half-bred Jersey heifers £4 19s, springing heifers £6 to £6, - store cows £2 to £3 17s Cd, fat-do. £4 15s to £5 3s. MESSRS VICKEKS' & STEVENS' REPORT. Vickers and Stevens report a fair muster of stock at their Inglcwood Yards on Wednesday, March 2. Bidding was rather quiet, but the majority of stock entered changed hands at the following prices : Inferior calves 10s to 15s, good calves 25s to 32s 6d, 20 months to 2 y#ar steers £3 14s, 15 months steers £2 14s 6d, 15 to 18 months heifers SJi 15s to £3 ss, store cows £2 5s to £3 12s 6d, forward cows £4 to StA 7s 6d, bulls £1 10s to £4 4s, woolly lambs 8s 6d to <Js, shorn ditto 0s tad to 7s, f.m. ewes 10s 6d, ram culls 7s At the horse fair on Friday, Feb. 27, there was a good entry of all classes, prices as follows : —lnferior hacks £2 10s to £4 15s, good hacks £7 10s to £lO 10s, light draughts £l7 10s to £22 10s, heavy draughts £27 to £33.
