Swimming Sports.

Moist and uncomfortable weather was experienced yesterday for the second sports meeting- under 'he auspices of the New Plymouth Swimming Club. There was, under circumstances, a really good attendance of the public, and well competed events in some cases served to make tho onlookers forget Hie discomforts of the rain, which varied from a drizzle lo a smart shower. The management was scarcely as oiompt as it might, have been, but the adverse conditions under which the sports were conducted in part accounted for Ibis.
