There wus little or no corroborative evidence, and 'the j»iry, -after a short retirement, returned u verdict of not guilty and the accused was discharged. Just before tin* ca.'re commenced Mr Justice Williams said "There are a tot of girls anil women in the gallery. Just clear tlwin out." This was done, but their places were taken by a number of youths.
