Tlki proceedings were marred by n fatal accident in the leaping competition, when If. McLcod, of MartihHoroufjli, and his horse came to g'rici in fmnt of the stand, and animal and lkler were killed instantly. The accident cost a da/nper on the show, and the competitive events were consequently postponed til! lomorrow morning.
