At a meeting of the Chamber o( Shipping the resolution passed by the Colonial Premiers' Conference in 1902, dealing with tihe promotion of imperial trade by tho employment of Ui'itibih Tessela was largn-ly approved. The mooting retaiuinendjed the aboilbioil oi dues. At a Winner yiven by the chamber Mr Gerald Balfour promised to propose a Select committee to inquire into the alleged inequality of the rogulutionis applicable to British and lorei'gn ships.
