Per Tress Association. HAMILTON, Jan. 21. Miss Amy Taylor, niece of the Hev G. Gillu-n, was drownwl in the, Wnikati» river at Cambridge. She Was Olio of a pic-nic party, and went to fetch Koine, water. \Wy loot-print?) were traced to the river bank, and her hut was sulniquently found. It is thought she must have slipped in. The body has not been recovered. ELTHAM, Jan. 21. A man named James Stewart, appuiently about .'lO years old, was killed by a fall of gravel at the Neil rouid pit this murniimg, between six tind seven o'clock. The accident was not witness*! by anyone. Deceased was found entom'bed beneath neout twrive tons of ma-t-ei-ial. Heath must have been instantaneous. His address is given as Upper Maclag'gianstiwt, Dunjcdin, wliere it is believed he has relative.!.
