Obituary.
MRS JA.N'K L.UXTON. The deutli occurred at WaiUra Itoafl ou Friday morning of an old r-Milk'r in 'Hhe IJUISMI of /.Mrs Jane Luxh/u. relict of the late Air llenrj Luxto.i. The deceased lady was born in Devonshire, England, in 181], and came to the colony early in the eighties, settling in the Waitara district, where the lamily i,'iis remained ever since. The late Mr l.uxton was connected with t|ie growth oi the dairying industry in the district for many years. Mrs J.uxton was very well known, and by- her death many Waitara people will lose a good friend. She was a sister of Messrs .lames and Harry K-.ittrnt.m'y, n<( v ,- JliS i;;j years of ugvi at ibe time of her .leath. Her demise was unexpectedl, though she had been wiling slightly for some little time. She leaves a groivn-tip family of nine., t .<.l three daughters U.-iitg Mrs Mellows, at Thames ; Jlrs lilakeley, Haholu ; .Mrs Stagji-iole, ralmerston North. Of the sons Mr Henry l.uxton is in Stratl'onl, and Mi Hei t l.uxton at Se.ntry Hill ; Mr T. Ltixton is farming at Waitara'and there are three ot the younger sons Jiving at home.
