ANNUAL PICNIC. There was weather on Ihursday for the annual picnic on the Barrett Hoad, at Mr Honeyheld's farm. It would have been almost impossible to have selected a more suitable rjjenic ground. Within easy reach of town, necessitating! a ride or drive along the seasiune and situated on rising ground, the P ace was splendid. Carter (superwrteivdent) and Mr Wesley Hooker (secretary) of the Wesleyan Sunday School, and Mr Arthur Ambury, Superintendent of the Baptist Sunday School. To enumerate those who worked with these gentlemen, whether at committee meetings or on tho picnic ground would bo dillicult-their names were legion. Tho rc-unioh was in' every way successful. Ir, the afternooj the races were conducted by Mr Vic Griditlis, the awards being in the shape of orders on Mr Huwke's emporium. Pressuro on space prevents our publishing the detailed pri/e----list.
