Mr Whitaker, who retired from the position of circuit steward, after occupying it for four years, was cordially thanked for his laithiul services. Votes of thanks were also passed to Mr Hugibson, of Westown, and to Mr Harris, of King and t'pland Road, who is moving to an\ other circuit. Messrs .1, Whiitaiker and A. Pikett were elected representatives to the I'oiti'i'eivntie, which is to be held in Auckland, with Messrs 1 (J. H. White aiwi J. Asher-as sMhistitutes. The meeting decided to memorialize conference lor the appointment o-f a home inissioiniarv to assist in the work o' the circuit. A resolution of symjxatM* *'itih the suftVrers throiugh the Wullaroo disaster was unajnimously adopted, to be forwarded to the Admiral of the Australian S^jiuadrou. One of the stewwds read a Letter from Mr C. W.
