Otto Nondenskoid, in long articles to the Times, describes the operations of the late Swedish Antarctic expedition. He states .the expedition I lound at Seymour Island and elsewhere traces of large fossil animals and rich fossil flora. s NIGERIAN EXPEDITION. LONDON, Dec. 80. The punitive expedition despatched a*»inst the llAatoos tribes lor attempting to kill the British Commissioner at Ekat in Southern Nigeria was. in the course of two months SUccessiul. The expedition destroyed ifteen villages in the Orou country killing many natives and losing only one man.
