Cancer.
ADELAIDE. Dec. 24. Dr. Ramsay Smith, Coroner, commenting on the case of a man drowned, who suffered from cancer, said much mere could be done to cure cancer, and .a great deal more to make the lives of patit-nts comfortable. It -was important they should realise this, because cancer was tbe coming disease. Every other disease was- working itself out. Consumption would be extinct in the natural course of the next <juarter of a century. Doctors had little means of studying cancer, consequently they did not get that practical experience to enable them to provide effective treatment. It was a great pity that victims were allowed to go about at large.
