Choicest New Zealand is at 102s per Ib ; Australian 100s ; Argentine, 98s to 100s ; Danish, 114s ; Siberian 945. , The cheese market is quiet but there is a better under tone. The F&panui is discharging cheese. Can•Wwn is, telling from, 52s to 53s pfcr cwt. The hemp market is steady. DUNEDIB STOCK MARKET. DUNEDIN, Dec. 23. Cattle.—l 43 yairded. Prices were easier. Best Wulllocks £lO 5s to £ll 3s Od, medium £8 15s bo £9 7s 6d, •light £7 to £B, best cows apd heifera £6 to £9, medium £7 10s to £8 2s 6d, light £5 17s 6d to £6 15s.

Sheep.—9ls yairded. Prices were slightly firmer. Best wethers 39/6 to 28s, medium 15s 6d to 17s 3d, others 13s to 14s, best ewes 17s to 18s, medium 14s to 15s 3d, others lis 6*f*to 12s 9d.

Lambs.—7lß yai*dad. Prices were firmer by Is Gd per head. Best lambs 15s 9d to 16s 6d, meaium 14s to 14s od, others 10s to 12s 6d. Pigs.—67 were yarykxi. Suckers 9s Ud to 17s Od, slips 22e to 255, stores 26s to 345, povkers 35s to 465, baconers 58s to 68s, big pigs 70s. OTAGO GRAIN M.VRKET. DUNEDIN, Dec. 23. Wheat—Fairly good enojuiry for small i.iarcels of choice milling. Quotations :—Prime milling 3s Id to 3s 4d, medium to good 2s 3d to 3s, test whole fowl wheat 2s 4d to 2s 6d, fcroken Is to 2s 3d (sacks extra).
