A Girl Drowned.
(Per Press Association). PAHIATUA, Dec. 2.1. A girl aged nine, daughter of a settler named Beckett at Kaitawa, was drowned while crossing a fchallow in Tiraaimea with a sister. Slw fell in, and a current carried her into deep water.
