CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 21 At a meeting oi the Boaixi of Governors o( the Canterbury College the C«,imijttee reported that it warn impossible to make final recommendations under the Secondary School*' zetted resolutions thereunder. OTOmconunittee recommended the Board' to come under clause IV of the Act ajnd offer scholarships to the acnlifll value of £520 to boys proposing to «ttend the High School, this wuorunt Ix-iwg aiwH/lfth' of t*» met annual uncomo derived from endowments. With regard to girls the Board waa recommended to apply to* the Government Cor fumtafor ;ti» erection of additional buildings. After long discussion consideration of the report was adjourned.
