The police subsequently from a "plant" at accused's place 01 jewellry, etc., taken at different periods from the Central Occidental, and Clarenden Hotels, l'almerston, and Wareham's Hotel, Keilding, the whole aggregating £SO. A portion of the find includes jewellery taken from the Gisborne delegates during tthe recent trkaiiiUal conference of tfhe Foresters held here. At the S.M. Court this morning accused was remanded, bail beiiiK granted in £IOO and two sureties of £SO each. Mangan is well known to the police in, Auckland and Wellington.
