The Norwegian barque Anglo Norman, 822 tons, has been chartered to bring a general cargo from Lyttelfffa to Wellington. The Ventura sailed from San Fran•isco at 8 p.m. on the lOt'h instant for Honolulu ami Auckland. On h«r last trip from London to Adelaide the White Star line Suevic is stated to have made a record trip of 39 days, including stoppages. She town and Albany, and is credited .with an average run of 14 knots throughout the trip.
The TJartmaki Freezing Works Co.— The s.s. Athentic will be the next steamer for dairy procuce, leaving Wellingtott on Dec. 10th, and will be followed by the s.s. Rimutaka on Dec. 24th.
