FIRST TEST MATCH. SYDNEY, Dec. 10. The weather is unsettled, and the prospects are not too bright fo> the test match. Received 10> 10.56 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 10. Immense interest is taken in the test match. Knight, Strudvitch and fielder stand out of the English teaui....A new wicket of liulli soil has been prepared, t'.ie cycling track forming tihe outer circle. The ground has been [minted green, owing to complaints of the glare therefrom. The weather to-day is very line and hot, but thunder is hanging round and predictions are not too reassuring. Betting is slightly in favour of the visitors.
