INSUi/TINO THE PROHIBITIONISTS. Received 10, 1.22 a.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 9. A large gathering of thy New South Wales Alliance met Mr Thus. Taylor, a member of the New Zealand Parliament. He 'gave an address, sketching the history of the temperance movement in New Zealand, a'liij urged the New South Wales Temperance party to keep pegging away till they obtained tire same rights as the people of New Zeiand. He declared that the Prohibition party had rejected Mr Seddon's proposals because they considered them all inwilt to' their intelii•gence. Suuh drastic proposals for a local option area should only accompany national prohibition.
