Hawera Industrial Exhibition.

The Hawera Industrial Exhibition, to take place in February next, is perhaps the most important function that has been undertaken by the people of this district. As an advertising medium for the products of the place it has great possibilities. The scope of the exhibition is wide, 'and it should excite attention and interest in every part of the North Island. As an educational la*.-or it cannot be over-estimated, for this district's development in industry and art will be shown side by side with the productions of other parts of the colony, and comparison is the best means we have of judging the real and potential value ot the article we have produced. New ideas are gained, intesest is awakened, and ambition is stimulated bv the desire to equal if not excel in quality the superior article that has been brought under notice.
