Tuberculosis.
Per Press Astociation. CHKISTCHURCH, Dec. 7. Mr Gilruth, Chief Government Veterinarian, was engaged all day yesterday with the local staff investigating the crusade against tuberculosis in oaftttle. Mr Gifiuth said the increase in the number of cases lately was due to a number of suspects having been held over for veterinarian inspection, and also to the fact that the Department had been waiting for summer before commencing a(n| active; crusadw. So tolas the public health was concerned there was no reason for alarm. He advocates making disease o 1 " the ud- ~~ der compulsoiily notiliable, and recommends all householders to boil milk used. .
