Oats.—The demand for shipping tines during the present week has 'been very slack, and buyers have t-tsen «Ten more particular than usual with regard W quality. Medium and inferior sorts have received little attention, a»d are a drug in the market. Quotations : Prime milling Is 4d to Is 4Jd, good to bast feed 1» lid to Is 3d id. Inferior to medium 9d to Is 3d, sacks extra. W : h*at.—-There is little demand from millers, except for choice qjualitie*, medium sorts being quite neglected. Fowl wheat is offering freely and continues to move off slowly. Quotations : Prime milling 3s Gd to 3s lOd, medium 3s to 3s 4d, whole fowl wheat 2s 8d to 2« 9d, broken, damaged and soft 2s 3d to 2s 6d, sacks extra. BL'UNSIDE STOCK SALES. DUNEDIN, Dec. 2. Fat Cattle.—Of these 160 were yarded, one-half being good to gr.'rr.e. Competition was fairly »<; live, but prices were from 7s 6d lo 20s be'ow last week. Best bullocks made £lO 10s to £l2, medium £S to £1", light. £8 2s 6d to £8 15s, lest cows and heifers £7 10s to £S fcs, medium £6 5s to £7, light £5 5s to £6.
Fat Sheep..—l73B were penned and the quality generally was good. The trade was well represented, but several lehd supplies from -last week, and prices all round ware Is lower than last week. Best woolly wethers 22s to 235, medium 19s to 2.1s 6d, I.i st shorn wethers 19s to 20s, medium 17s Od to 18s (id, best woolly ew«s 21s to 235, shorn 15s 3d to I'is od.
Lamhi.—37s were penned and j-v;o----•s were quite Is higher than "art week. Best made 13s Cd to l"s. medium 12s to 13s.
Pig:'.—Ninety were penned, the majority being young. Prices recovered from last week. Suckers 12s to 225, slips 24s to 28s, stores 29s to S4s, porkers 36s to 475, baconers 57s to 635, choppers up to 70s.
