Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 3. Echvi'n Gray and Frank King- wore found guilty of a series of burglaries and sentenced respectively to eight aivd seven years' hard labour. The Crown applied for a new trial in the alleged " two-up" case, two juries having disagreed. Mr Jellicoe opposed the application, and applied to 'cjuas'h the conviction in the indictment upon which i'he prisoners Sturgeon anil Eager were committed for trial'. • Mr Justice Cooper 'granted a new trial for. Monday, and reserved judgment until Saturday next on points raised by Mr Jellicoe.
