Arrivals are much lighter, but stocks of mutton are and the market is rather unsettled. Average price today of Canterbury brands of mutton 4d, for Dunedin, Southland, and Wellington Meat Export Company's brands 3fd, for other North Island •brands 3id ; ewes 3d. Butter Market dull. Averag© price for choicest New Zealand 102s to 104s per cwt. New Zealand butter is dragging. Danish steady. Cheese—Slarket quiet, with a tendency in favour of buyers. Gaatulian p3s. Hpmp—Market steady. price of New Zealand hemp, good WeJ _ lington, on spot, to-day, is £32 to £3l APril No alteration in the cocksfoot seed market since cabling lust week. The market for crossbred is now steady at the decline reported in rnv previous cablegram. y
