INVERCAIiGIIJj, Dec. 1. Charles Green, who pleaded guilty in the lower Court, was placed on probation for 12 months for an attempt to draw money of another of the same name on a deposit receipt which haid' come into his hands accidentally. The Judge said he had been tempted by circumstances. The criminal business has finished, the only other case being one in which a man was with stealing a bull. This by the direction of the Judge, was thrown out, the evidence to the adduced showing) that the animal was at large unbranded and a menace to defendant's erd, and thfs h$ shot it honestly believing it .was ownerless,.
