Sudden Death.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 29. James Salmon, aged 58, formerly managing clerk for Messrs Chapman and Tripp, died- suddenly last night. On Thursday morning he stated that he had been assaulted on the previous day, but this was not thought correct, it being surmised that an injury he received on the head was caused by his falling down while under the influence of liquor. The United States has close urc-n three hundred trusts. Between the dawn of 1899 and the close of 1902 no fewer than eighty-three were organised, with a capital of over £860,000,000.
