Raid on Chinese.
£IOO WORTH OF LIQUOR SEIZED. WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. The premises occupied by Chung Tock Fong, trading as Sing Kee Bros., Chinese merchants, at the comer of Haining and Frederick Streets, were raided by the police this afternoon on .suspicion of being a "sly grogshop." About £IOO worth of liquor, consisting of brandy, gin, whisky, Chinese wines, etc., was secured. Prosecutions will follow.
